We receive the official notification that the Styrian Government will grant "Interpreneurship" the funding we applied for--€ 99,117.00.

After taking some hurdles along the way, the project officially launches on October 1, 2019--one month later than originally planned.
Our project partners of the Center for Entrepreneurship welcomed the current Ambassador of the United States of America to Austria for a talk on Austro-American relations, focusing on entrepreneurship.
We publish the call for articles for our major research output in this one-year project, a special issue of the Journal of the Austrian Association for American Studies, scheduled for publication in 2021.

The global spread of the coronavirus has, unfortunately, forced us to cancel the "Entrepreneurial Filmmaking and Film Studies" undergraduate seminar James Forsher was slated to teach in April and May.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the campus of the University of Graz has been shut down, which transforms the undergraduate seminar on American entrepreneurship into an online course from one week to the next. A general lockdown (to start on Monday) will keep us from realizing some of our planned activities.
Today, Michael was supposed to deliver a paper at the European Assocation for American Studies conference in Warsaw; however, as we all know, there's restrictions on international travel etc. in place.
